  Door
Doorways provide access to different areas of a house. Doors control access while providing privacy. They separate rooms from view and noise.

HINT
Doors can be plain or fancy. They can swing on hinges, slide sideways, or even be raised vertically. A heavy door can be used for protection or to block out noise from a room, while a lightweight door can be used for privacy. Glass doors can shut out noise while allowing a view into an area.
