Frank Lloyd Wright was raised in a family of Unitarian Universalists, a religion that values individuality and embraces multiple
ways of understanding the Divine. These are principles that stayed with Wright throughout his life and are illustrated in the religious structures he
designed during his architectural career. In Unity Temple, a Unitarian church, Wright's ideas about democracy and the Unitarian faith can be seen in
the structure of the building itself. In Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Wright stayed true to the essential elements of the Greek Orthodox religion
while creating a building that would enhance the experience of worship.
